well, I think u shd have a rough gauge of her marks through her sa1 result πŸ˜„ So i think u would be more gun chiong then me when our dd go p3 as I supposed the 'gep' atmosphere there is more tense....

Well, whether she can go through 1st, 2nd, 3rd round of the selection test is still too early to tell.

hope this forum is still around then... and we can exchange our excitedness..haaaaaaaaaa.. but for my dd only hope she can pass the 1st screening test but the second one not so likely...

            Hi vlim,
You never know the surprise she may have for you when she grows older. Maybe by that time , she will be smarter than your first child!

              hi kiasimum and ksp,

Have your p1 kid finished the exams. My girl finished hers last week...
Yes, my P1 gal has completed her exams.
She made my heart stopped beating for 2 seconds yesterday with her maths results. 86/100 :faint:
So must really \"grill\" her for P3...

                      We are very similar!
My DS is smarter by nature as compared to my DD. But I still hope she can \"kai qiao\" before P3 for the GEP(again??) oops

To me the 1st round is to convince the teacher or school to put her name up for the 1st selection test. I don't think everyone in P3 sit for it. Otherwise it will be another nation wide exam like PSLE. It got to be from teacher or school recommendation for the selected students. That's my understanding.
