The process is correct. If both parents are available, it is better for one to be stationed at Henry Park, while the other at ACJS. Once the withdrawal from Henry Park is complete, the parent at ACJS can just proceed to register immediately. Hence, you cut down on one worry - travelling from Henry Park to ACJS.

Many parents do the withdrawal and registration. I believe the schools are used to it, and will not probe.

It's always good to have backup plan, whether you use it eventually or not.
thanks so much for your advice! šŸ˜„

        Hi mummies,

I need advice. This is my current situation.

I will need to register my boy for P1 this yr, for 2013 in-take, and my application to be a PV at SouthView school had been rejected by the school. šŸ˜ž

My husband and I have a plan to move house, and we are pretty open in terms of locations to move to in SG..I have been searching high and low to see if there's any good schools that I can move to and have good chance to get in for <1km...

Any suggestions/ tips from parents would be much appreciated!!

Eh somehow feel that RMPS is not so balance, Kellock well balance or new balance. Went Kellock open house, the \"feel\" is so different. :rahrah:

Phase 2C for this year would be 30 Jul, 31 Jul & 1 Aug. šŸ˜“
          Hi Titank,

I also thinking of registering my DS in either RMPS or ZDPS. Can you explain why is RMPS not balance? But both will be under 2C within 1km

            hi jiangnan,

are you a foreigner ? if Yes, you can apply only under phase 3.
phase 1 to 2C Supp are open to SG citizens and PR only.

            rules:
            http://www.moe.gov.sg/education/admissions/primary-one-registration/phases/

by phase 2C, all seats in SouthView primary would have been taken up already.
No chance even for 2C Supp.

              Hi,

              Nope, we are singaporeans. šŸ˜‰
Yup, i don't put hope in Southview, it was 5 times more applicants in phase 2c last yr...very slim chance.

Any popular schools that do not required balloting for those stay within 1km? Really need to buy a house soon. BTW, I intend to keep my current CCK house too.

              Thanks all.

Err....popular schools that do not require balloting for those staying within 1 km - still considered popular? 🤷 šŸ¦† :siam:

šŸ˜„ Or rather, balloting but at least higher chance...not to the extend like 5 pax competing for 1 seat..

How abt move to Bt Panjang?
Got 3 popular schs that ballot within 1km.
                        BPPS, Beacon and Greenridge.
                        Houses there also quite reasonable...
                        Just my 2 cents
