The chances of successful appealing is almost near 100%, though the school will always tell you the opposite. My suggestion? Appeal now before its too late πŸ™‚

Hi! Can anyone enlighten me on the RA entry tests for RI? I heard there are 2 written tests - 1 mid-year, 1 year-end plus an interview. Is the year-end test only for those who did not fare well in the mid-year one? Thanks!

        Cheers!

He is curious in e beginning … But he may not be able to do certain activities in red cross due to his medical condition. So not sure how it will affect his ranking promotion. He’s also in a dilemma

May be he can talk to the teacher-in-charge to find out more.

                  What was his first choice?

Hi, does anyone have any son in Secondary 3 this year? If yes, does he complain about the heavy work load? My son is taking triple Science + Literature (non RA). He is complaining he has so much homework and project work that he is comtemplating changing to another IP school. According to him the gap semester in Secondary 4 forces the syllabus to be compressed that he is given as many as 4-5 pieces of homework daily that leaves him with no time to revise the lessons or read ahead. How is everyone else coping? Help!! Thanks!

Same here. Stress level v high too. Lots of projects plus CCA commitments. And the hw is v v tough to do. The only \"help\" I could offer him is give him herbal tea, herbal soup, fav desserts and the occasional caffeine fix if he has to stay up late but has no more energy to do so. Always falling asleep on bus/mrt. Sob sob heartbreaking.

Many of his friends are in the same boat so don't worry too much.
