My DD, having been appointed class monitor in her P1 class, was saddened to receive a \"I don't friend you\" note from a classmate whom she booked for talking in class.

CKS: I won't worry about that. If your friend has been naughty she deserved to be booked. Don't friend never mind. You don't need such friends.
      DD: *sniff* *nods head*
CKS: You must stick to your principles. Always listen to your principles when you do things.
DD: *frowns, then nods heads vigorously*

Mrs CKS, acting on a whim: Uh... you know what is principle anot?
      DD: Yuh. Mrs Tan lor.

      :rotflmao:

:rotflmao: There's only one principal they know..

I wanted to show some concern as DS3 CA1 is near.

Me: How's your school work coming along?
              DS3: Good
Me: Do you have lots of hw?
              DS3: sort of.
Me: so have you completed them (Never see DS3 doing any at all)
DS3: Some done and some not yet.
              Me: :skeptical: Can you cope?
              DS3: :lightrod: Yes
              Me: Do you need tuition?
DS3: :lightrod: No..... :scratchhead: Errrr since all my friends have tuition and I don't need any... why don't you give me the money that you save (from spending on tuition)?
              Me: :slapshead:

my kids one day call me 'dear', just like how my wife call me

                I feel its funny
Lol! Yes, I had this episode too! My hubby and I addressed each other as \"dear dear\". During those early days, my child would call out my hubby as \"dear dear\"! To curb this, we ended up addressing each other as \"mummy\" or \"papa\" for a long while.

dd2 saw me pillow my head on dh's big belly. Not looking quite agreeable, she commented

dd: You know he is mine, right?

me: Nope, he is mine. I met him much earlier than you did.

dd: But we've a stronger relationship.

                  me: Why so?

dd: Husband can change, daddy cannot change.

Here's the new trick question of the day (from the kids):

DS: I can make you forget about the box.
                    Me: What box?
                    DS: There!! 😆
