If u wld recall, Chief had wanted to lock d political forum
some time after d last GE n reopen it only in GE2016.
Sufficient continued interest may hv swayed him,
or in his great wisdom he felt there is a need to keep KSPers abreast of local politics.
I don't know his reasons.
Mostly, d forummers here hv been level-headed n some do provide good perspectives.
In an open forum,we shd expect to meet all sorts.

Do you think LTK thinks he will definitely win when he goes to Aljunied GRC? Surely he have to calculated his risk and make sure that Hougang is in good hands. Just in case if he lose in Aljunied, Hougang is still in WP's hand. So he will put Hougang in someone he trusted. Being a political veteran, he would know that any scandals is bad for politicians.
For this point, I sincerely believe he do not know about YSL's EMA. -
Thx 3Boys…, incidentally, I hv 3 girls. I’m just a concern parent lah. Regardless that my nick is what it is, I’m for good govt, not perfect, but tries to be. My take is that whichever party that wld run Singapore in the future, shd hv all citizens’ best interest at heart & are made up of well qualified individuals that have gone through stringent scrutiny, so that scandals like this YSL’s EMA will have no place in Singapore politics. Idealist I maybe, but that’s really upto my kids to carry the baton…
