Yes I saw the irony indeed. On one hand, the defamatory comments were asked to be removed ( rightly ), but the lawyer letter was asked to be posted in full ( contents including the said 'comments' ) :scared: what de ?

It is not because I pro-govt or pro-opposition govt, I pro objectivity.


If people have no evidence and like to make wild accusations especially publicly, then I feel that they are asking for it. It may appear that the govt likes to sue people but if you really have the right info from valid sources, there is no fear. Only if it is groundless accusation, , then the perpetrators better fear and start to act responsibly.

After all, both cases are only warning letters to remove the comments, not an immediate lawsuit.

Quite honestly, the damage is already done by the perpetrators as they have already planted doubts in people's mind so what else do they want? More rights to accuse?

If there is a 孤男寡女 stay in a room for a night and witness by someone, it is difficult for people not to 'speculate' regardless of whether the couple does anything in the room or not.

When one's position is 'sensitive', such as already with a 'Married' status, one has to 避嫌. I distant myself from a few male friends who were real buddies coz their wives' eyes 容不下沙子 (one of them even called me to stop contacting her husband. Humiliating experience but have to 避嫌 no matter how 'buddy' my relationship is with such long term school time friends).

Personally, I hold a strong belief of 清者自清. However, if have to 避嫌 then just have to 避嫌 else may end up with 'chicken fly dog jump' kind of unpleasant situation...

I like this Ma's style of doing things that shut off peoples' mouth and don't need to go into entertaining 'rumours', sending legal letters, etc, kind of big actions...
