        Hi mummies,

Yesterday Dd brought home the Young Scientist Magazine order form. Submit your order by next week (Monday and Tuesday if I'm not wrong.)

Dd's assessment tests just over yesterday. Time to have short break. 🙂

          Hi SAHM2KIDS,

Yes yes, finally the CAs are over. My boy was pretty "worried" and I can feel his stress. Had a talk with a friend the other day, she told me her gal’s school and some other JW schools, except Rulang, do not conduct CAs for P1 term 1. I was pretty surprised.

I asked my boy on the CAs, he told me most of his friends in his class did well. I realised it’s really getting very competitive.

In any case, I told him that most importantly, just do your best. He agrees…

                Hi mummies,

Yes, it’s getting very competitive. Dd said her MT teacher not very happy with their results. Her teacher said "二十人那满分,十九人马马乎乎丢了一分. 以前有三十七人那满分." - so stress !!!

                      Hi yippee,

I think MPM is quite good for Kindy to Lower Primary perhaps. My DS has been in MPM since K2. They follow closely MOE curriculum with systematic steps for the kids to learn. As for MS, he just started couple of weeks ago, hence cannot comment much at this point. So far, so good. Their classes are so \"hot\" that most are full. They kids are taught in grammar, vocabulary, cloze passage, comprehension and composition. Occasionally, they will conduct tests.

Recently, I realised there are tuition classes conducted in Frontier CC by Leapstart, not sure if they are good.

                      yippee, are you in PSG?

                        Hi SAHM2KIDS,

My DS MT teacher also very particular about their writings. His teacher insisted him to re-write his name "many times" cos they were not written in the correct manner.

I think we as parents feel more stress and have to always ensure he does his homework, learn his spellings, prepare his tests etc… endless…
