Crazy for bags!

MMM:
There was an article in y'day's Sunday Times on 'outlet' bags. It's true for Coach that they actually have an 'otulet range' which u cannot find in their main stores. Noenetheless, I find the qualify quite good!!
I actually got quite a no. of coach bags from US factory outlet/ department stores. Got many for my mum too eg. those sling on shoulder, etc... Mainly fabric type. But it is stain free and durable. I've used the same coach wallet for a couple of years and it don't look it it is going to give way soon... They are really cheap in US eg. less than S$200. It's probably cheaper than a bonia bag in Singapore.... That's why when I saw it in Japan and Johor outlet, it is still so much more expensive than US. So far, i use the coach for daily use. It is not too heavy. -

Actually besides the outlet range, I also saw some \"US past season\" eg. those leather type in the US outlet. I saw it in Singapore and I think it was going at $900+.

The great thing about US outlet is that they have seasons but in Singapore, we don't have. That is the beauty of it. -
unless you are a trend follower or one who attends lots of balls, social events, a showoff (this, i must :siam:  ) etc, the latest season or the \"IT\" bag is probably a must. :moneyflies:
but for most of us (especially me), i really dont care what season it is. as long as it is nice and practical (gosh, i hate to admit i got some impractical bags), and i am in the mood to get a new bag, off the shelves and into my hands it goes

I know they are classics but I find them a little old as the shape is very structured. That said, their workmanship is impeccable. I can't rmber the price but I do recall thinking \"for that price, I would rather get a small Prada or Fendi\", lol.i would like to get hold of a kwanpen bag.
anyone has an idea the min cost of any small bag?
For exotic skin bags, I like Mali Sacs. They use snake skin together with lambskin and are gorgeous. -

Have you considered Kenneth Cole ? Their wave weaved bags are simply beautiful. Very lasting and well-made too. Price is less than $1K for full leather
I did some shopping and see that for my budget, only Coach, Kate Spade Longchamp or Agnes B. I saw some nice designs for Coach, wonder whether the leather is lasting?xueyan:
I am thinking of getting a branded bag.
I have been working all these years diligently and realized that I really did not pamper myself much. As such, i decided that from this year onwards, I will start to spend more and be more relax about savings.
My budget is $1000, what do you think I should get? I know of many brands that easily exceed that sum, but this is the maximum I would pay for a bag..... -

My bad, I meant Cole Haan, esp his weaving. Never liked Kenneth Cole's bags - too high-street lookwise. Nice leather though.watmekiasu:
