Actually, I'm quite confused. Cos he looks so happy, calls friends n talks about them at home. Talk about doing this n that during recess and about sneaking to the library if have time. Then when I see him in school setting, he is usually talking to someone. So I wonder how come can be both sociable and antisocial at the same time...Yup. Try not to feel too stressed about it.
Children are very amazing. They will somehow rise to the occasion when the need arises. If he responds to classmates and all, I Think it's good.
My son is also very shy. When his classmate calls him, he will hide lor!
And I guess the tcr's concern is when he uncomfortable, he acts out. Says stuff loudly and distracts the class. I can see how disruptive that is.. -
Children can sometimes have different personalities at different places. Eg, personality is different in school and at home.
With regards to sitting on the floor together, maybe the teacher can do something to address the issue first. Like letting him sit right in front, or at the side where he won’t feel cramped by classmates?
Then after a few days, slowly move him inwards bit by bit?
Maybe you can talk to the teacher a bit more in detail and ask if there are alternative solutions first. -
My son did very badly for his Eng and Math review.

Cheer up... Mine didn't score too well also. The English, last page was left blank... He say he didn't know got last page... Bang head right?? -
Mine also go alot of blanks. But he say he dunno how to do. That’s why left blank.
Suddenly feel very helpless. Must buy more assessment for him to do already.
Worse thing is, he lazy to read. Gosh. Dunno how. -

Mine both also not good. English cannot read, maths sums don't read questions. Q ask for greatest to smallest he didn't read, write smallest to biggest. Ask him tick the greatest no of objects in the box; instead he wrote the number of object in the box instead of tick... Super careless. As it is he is studying all day alr. Don't really want to start him on assessments...
they're only pri 1...

Mine Also!!!
Did exactly all the same as your son! Plus, ask him to write in words, he wrote number.
Number patterns left blank!?!?
Number bonds at the end, given 2 and 7 make 9, he just need to copy. But he gave an alternative answer and wrote 5 and 4 make 9 in the boxes.
His English is worse. Cause the cloze passage all dun wanna read. Actually is everything dun wanna read.
bang head
