You can try Icing Room (tat cake shop that lets pple decorate cakes themselves). They sell some edible decor items. Quite a few branches around - Compass Point, Nex etc

2nd choice would be to buy plastic animal figurines from Kiddy Palace (they have farm animals and dinosaurs etc), wash them and put them on the icing. Think your kid would prefer this option coz he can play with them after eating the cake.

You are a nice mommy to even think of doing this! 🙂

thnk I would just get some plastic toys, but to find the right size, not easy…wait the toys bigger than the cake! hahah…

Dd3 asked for a princess cake for her birthday. A very challenging task so I did a trial cake and it turned out quite well. So happy 😄

All in all, I made 3 cakes. A trial princess cake, a 2nd mermaid cake for home celebration and a 3rd princess cake for school celebration.

Just want to share my joy on my success 😄

                        http://www.pastrychef.com/DANISH-EBELSKIVER-PAN_p_1486.html

The pan looks like the one in the link above.

It is pancake presented in a different way. The batter is basically like pancake batter. To make it fluffier, I beat the whites separately. With pancake you dump the fruit or sauces or jams on it after the pancake is done. With Ebelskivers, all these are sealed in these little balls when you cook the batter. Makes it easier to eat.
Hi Funz, I am very new to baking and would like to give this a try. Could you give me the recipe for the pancake?

                        Thanks
