ban enrichment centers! - I know this will never happen in the real world but i still support your idea. Let MOE pay for the copyright/patent for ALL the resources (teaching materials & teachers) and distribute them to all gov schools. :congrats:

By then MOE will say All Schools are BEST Schools. :rahrah:

Sounds like a real disadvantage to students whose parents can't teach them at home - either due to work or educational background.

Enrichments are legal business how to ban ??

That is why i say have schools from 8:00am till 6:00 pm
All CCAs and school enrichment/supp classes, additional time- have some outdoor play and self study time ( when they can do some homework too).

Go home - no time to go to enrichments πŸ˜†

My understanding is cut down already...so it should be less than 10 now.. πŸ˜‚ But I understand the long hours was to do school's work, not tuition work.

I don't think it will help.there are weekends and kiasu parents.
              This will achieve by
*moe textbooks( specially written by highly educated person appointed by moe with high salary) with copyright and distribute to all schools
              *test in the book

Go home - no time to go to enrichments πŸ˜†[/quote]

No time for enrichments and no time for parents to teach also like that then fair mah. All hw must be done in school. All textbook and assessment must be left in school. Like that parents don't have to stress over it. :congrats:

Yes, full day school. Then some mothers can have time to do their own things or rejoin the workforce. Reduce reliance on maids and foreign talents.

No, don’t ban enrichment centers. Will only drive them underground. Then who knows what actually goes on behind closed doors?
