Sleepy:my mum told me that too, but its sort of a very wierd topic to broach. Those who have no one to turn to(like me), all the feelings are usually bottled up. My mum was lucky to have people the same age as her around, but all I have is a younger bro.

I am in the era where study come first. During my younger days, i used to have curfew right up to JC and need to be home by 6pm. Otherwise i would be thrown out of the house. I am those guai guai type and never sort of defy.

I believe in puppy love as well but need to manage that in terms of maturity. Afterall one can't depends on love for food. Need to be realistic on this as well.

What i hope for my children to concentrate on studies all the way till JC2. Only after A-level, you can do whatever you want. Must must have steady girlfriend before start work. If not, i will take action. :pokeeye:

No wonder you turn to KSP aunties and uncles πŸ˜‰
Most welcome to share your woes here.
There are quite a few students here and they share their worries about grades, coping with school, which uni course/subjects to choose etc. It's nice to hear from the perspectives of you youngsters so that we are in touch and updated with what our kids may be thinking.

hopefully if i ask many times, he'll feel less embarrassed? πŸ˜“
maybe your mum knows but keep quiet ah? some parents prefer to keep quiet and just observe because it can be embarrassing for them and/or they want to see if their children will confess or/are matured enough to handle/confess. πŸ˜“

:nailbite: she knows but she chooses not to probe ... Maybe she's silently observing...that's y she asked you once before, to open the communication channel on this topic.
You will be surprised if you confide in her... You may receive some sound advice ... We mummies don't say but we know  πŸ˜‰
