Which comma did you miss out?

Is there a comma before and after the line?

Please revise your sentence accordingly as shown in your source.

          Best wishes

            Hi

For Q1, both answers convey the same meaning.

As for the position of pronouns in main/subordinate clauses, you may wish to refer to page 55/56 of this book, English as it is Broken, Book 2.

                Hi

Let me give it a try.

                (1) will you and would you are possible when making requests.
However, would you is more polite than will you when making requests or suggestions.

                Hence, I would pick (4)

                (2) Could is the past tense of can.We want to say something happened as something else was going on.

We use as + past continuous to introduce the action in progress, stepping onto the stage.

One possible scenario is to imagine walking up the stage to receive the bursary award from your MP.

                I would go for (3)

                Best wishes

Thanks Tianzhu. For qn 1, the ans given is 4. For qn 2, ans given is 2, but not sure why. In fact for qn 2, had a discussion w DS on tis and it seems tat there could be more than 1 possible ans based on diff interpretation of how the event is... :scratchhead:

                        your first question is ok

your 2nd question is a little tricky ( i may be wrong)

if at the time of answering the question, clifford's dad hasn't gone for the business trip, then your DS answer is right.

if at the time of answering the question, clifford's dad has gone for the business trip, then the answer key is right.

but judging from how the sentence is phrased, if we were to use the past tense 'was' (as per the answer key) then tomorrow is wrongly used. it should be last week or yesterday or something of the past.

so i can only conclude that clifford's dad hasn't gone for the business trip during the time of answering, and your DS answer is right.
