Can ijust ask, for those who engage pt time maid 2x a week–what is the job scope-is it just the same chores 2x a week?
so the cleaner wash the toilets twice a week? Sweep/mop and iron clothes -
clioclio:
yes generally that. Also cleaning fan, windows when once a month. There are some variances between agencies. You can discuss your requirements with them before engaging. e.g. I want them to clear my balcony of dried/fallen leaves and water the plants, wash some pots and pans. Can ijust ask, for those who engage pt time maid 2x a week--what is the job scope-is it just the same chores 2x a week?

1amber, read in one of your posts that you are using Glory Services. Are you still using them? Once a week and 4 hrs per session?

I called Glory and Raffles services and they didn't call back. So I googled some more and found E Marketing & house services. You can go to their website housecleanerssingapore.com
A bit more expensive. I am paying $20.5/h flat. It is more expensive but I insisted on a singaporean and they sent me one. She is very good leh. Independent, and experienced. Not need for me to supervise. Tall and beautiful somemore. 55 years old got driving license. Not like an auntie at all.
What I like about this arrangement not to pay commission or one time admin fee is that I can then try them out and if not suitable move to another service provider. They charge in advance $328 for 4 sessions. If you want to renew then you pay for the next 4 session. If not, just move on.
Today is my first session. I will update about my singaporean beauty again.
ps I m not a shareholder of that company

ha ha very satisfied. Left her to work independently and she did a good job. Very experienced. Didn't have to clean up after her or do damage control. I had peace of mind. -

What tasks did she do? I surfed the website, it didn't mention 'toilet washing' as one of the tasks. Can we get the part timer to do that?daranic:

Cleaning of window, fan on rotation basis. I intentionally left this lady to her own devices so that I can compare her work and that of my previous PT. She arranged all my things nicely, dust off the tops, washed my dishes found in the sink, mop the bathrooms, washed the toilets. I did specifically asked her to sweep my balcony and water my plants though. And she also did something I didn't expect which was to clear my cat's poo poo.1amber:

The previous one, \"keng\" whenever I wasn't looking. So in the end, my conclusion is to get an experienced one and pay a little more for good work. -
