Expected. Double standard, as usual.

Verdict will only be out in 1-2 weeks time. Why take so long?

Singaporean studying overseas ‘writes’ to NUS PRC scholar Sun Xu

              http://temasektimes.wordpress.com/2012/03/15/singaporean-studying-overseas-writes-to-nus-prc-scholar-sun-xu/
I study overseas also and with no grants, no scholarship or anything special and yet I wish my home country would offer me that.

My poor father and mother work super hard to put me through school and send me overseas even when I say “Mom and Dad, its expensive and I am not the gifted child, I should study local.”

But my parents said, “Its ok son, you will learn to grow, mature and be independent and Mom and Dad will support you as much as we can give.”

The govt give so many grants to foreigners and not much to locals, but what about those of us who want to try and work hard for it? Do we have anything or any bonds or scholarships?

But I don’t. BUT I LEARN HOW TO BE HUMBLE! HOW TO HAVE HUMILITY, HOW TO BE COMPASSIONATE! HOW TO RESPECT PEOPLE IN THEIR OWN COUNTRY and LEARN AND UNDERSTAND how people in their own country live and go about.

I respect people and even there have have been racial slurs against me or anything, never have I once took up and called someone a dog, I may have been angry, but I don’t condemn an entire nationality to their doom or to disgrace them.

Since (Sun Xu) you are a scholar, you tell me.

QUOTING FROM Confucius, who happens to be a Grreeeatt Chinese Philosopher:

“What you do not want done to yourself, do not do to others.”

              QUOTING From Lao Tzu:

“He who knows, does not speak. He who speaks, does not know.”

Now you tell me two ancient old Chinese Philosophers from China can figure it out, why can’t you?
I will accept a published apology from him to all Singaporeans on ST and ZB and move on.

I don't want to feed a leech in the backyard..

Pple make mistake.. yes.. but this is a serious case of attitude and upbringing.. which is unlikely to change.. if you are reckless.. you may change if given a chance.. but if you despise Singaporeans from the bottom of the heart.. that arrogance and disrespect is unlikely to change.. maybe just better hidden only..

We have already fed him fat. If we terminate his scholarship and send him home, depending on the term of the scholarship, he might not need to pay back a single cent.

The problem lies with the initial stage how this fella passed the interview. What were those panel of interviewers doing during interview? Failure MOE panel of interviewers.

Those ‘ah quas’ and ‘tom-boys’ are qualified to become school teachers. How to be set good example to students? Some students regard teachers as their mentors.
I know a sec sch, one of the male teachers is doing ‘underwear’ model, and these photos are in the magazines.
