Long time no post at this thread and happened to read your post ..

My P1 DD2 is also extremely weak with her HYPY :sad: and during the PTM last Sat with her Chinese T, he said in an encouraging way that it is quite common with the P1s and not to be too worry about it Nevertheless, he did point out that it is good to have the strong foundation in HYPY

Just for sharing , i am using the following to practise HYPY with DD2:

Where you get that book? Think I need to go back to school for that oso leh. Was hoping that DD will be able to get the hang of using models on her own so I can sit back and relax but now looks like no choice I gotta figure out how to use models to solve problems in order to show her.
