There should be a note from the teacher - my ds has always brought home this 1/2 A4-sized paper printed with instructions how to prepare for the Chinese show-and-tell from greeting to the topics.

thanks, mum2jj. yes, i found the note to study textbook from page 5-53, tingxie 1-5 and a xuele website. will do that.

That sounds more like the instructions to study for the coming CL test, not show n tell.

Show n tell usually must bring a photo or prop and talk about it. You better email the Chinese teacher if you can't find the instructions. Does your DS class have a class blog?

It is correct, next week 口语活动 is on 认读拼音。I have the same instructions.

Oh, this is not show and tell… it is just an oral test on hanyu pinyin. No worries on that. Very easy if your boy is ok with hanyu pinyin.

I’ve another child who is in Pre-school, and the teacher has mentioned before that the months of Feb-Mar seem to be saddled w more of such cases. Wonder why…

Oh is it? Before the hols? Because 6 boys from my ds P2 class are down with HFMD this wk, chances are they got it last week!
