this am was my first visit to a polyclinic after so many years.

good service by staff and dr, short waiting time and clean and spacious layout of the whole place. i am not too fond of the young (quite good looking) male medical technican who poked me to draw the blood though

many patients were wearing masks too šŸ˜‰ (not something i see in private clinics) and when i see the payment fees, i understand why my private dr is so rich. :faint:

Maybe yours belong to the older generation.
I know of private doctor living in HDB flat and drive Japanese car- just like most of us.
Overheads are so high these days.
Dunno why people still wanna become doctors.

Study so hard and so long. Tuition fees so expensive.
            Really not worth it.

Depends on whether you view it as a calling or money making career.

I think there are still some specialised areas that are still profitable.

There are docs who go to ulu ulu places to save lives and improves patients' quality of life.

Best is earn from the rich and treat the poor for free :rotflmao:
