with many prs kids go to non-popular schools, maybe year after year those non-popular schools become popular schools... who knows...

Why pr go into non popular school, the school will become popular school next time ?[/quote]

        because:-

        a) there are PR parents who are very \"on\" type, urge their kids on.

        b) there are PR kids (can come from China, India, Malaysia, Hongkong, etc) whose character are resilient, humble, modest, very determined, self motivated, possess self drive towards success, adopt \"Never Say Die\" attitude.

        example:-
when Qiu Biqing came to Singapore at 10 years old, her English was so bad that she had problems forming full sentences.

Three years down the road, she became Singapore's top PSLE student, with a score of 290 and an A* in English.

hope to see more PR kids like her, from whichever nationality.
They will create history, in time to come.

Not fair. This system still support PR. They should scrutinized parents' identity too. They must be SC to be given the priority.

don't understand why MOE don't initiate Task force investigative study teams go down to assess, figure out and try to bring up the standard of such low enrolment schools. This is the key issue, crux of the problem.

MOE should seriously explore this area how to bring up the standard have more GOOD schools, if really want to sing the tune that \"All schools are good\".
Some parents think that, for instance, SAP schools are good. SAP schools teach values, etc. that non-SAP schools do not teach. This is perception. How do you think MOE is able to change perception? By making all schools SAP? 🤷

Oh.. so does that mean that we SC have to be like pr parent and be more tiger mom else we will lose out ???

Or we have to train our kids to be like the PR kids so that we can be just as good ???

                😞
