        phtthp:
        a) there are PR parents who are very \"on\" type, urge their kids on....

Oh.. so does that mean that we SC have to be like pr parent and be more tiger mom else we will lose out ???

Or we have to train our kids to be like the PR kids so that we can be just as good ???

        😞

I am excited to see what’s the difference with the changes announced.

Want to register, grab a place and that’s it.

The update on the 2012 exercise will be available at MOE website, in late June 2012.

                    http://www.moe.gov.sg/education/admissions/primary-one-registration/vacancies/

                    http://www.moe.gov.sg/education/admissions/primary-one-registration/

phase 1 and 2a usual, normal as in past years.

                    only difference is:-
2006 become the pioneering batch where we can witness how the definition of \"absolute priority of SC over PR within each phase only\" applies to phase 2B and 2C.

compared to 2005 roosters, birth rate statistics of SC 2006 doggies slightly higher.
                    Refer page 10, section 3.6:-

                    http://www.singstat.gov.sg/pubn/reference/yos11/statsT-demography.pdf

2007 piggies - higher birth rate.
notice birth rate drop for 2010 tigers (lesser competition).

                      Hi, pls enlighten me.

I am trying for pei hwa under phase 2c since I hv no affiliation nor done any PV.

If tis fails, my back up is bukit timah, but I do it at the end of phase 2c? Or I station one parent each at the 2 schools on the first day? Or I only try bukit timah once it is apparent tat pei hwa is full? Or MOE will allocate if I fail in my bid for pei hwa?

Phew, just imagining the situation is making me nervous 🙂

                      Thks!

Is your child a Singapore Citizen? What is the distance between your house and Pei Hwa? What about distance to Bt Timah Pri?
