the so many topics on pri school education and a few others are really like tennis match. been switching from one tab to another to read and \"BLONK\", my laptop (actually my ds's) nearly died on me :yikes:


went to robinson to check out the pressure cooker and a korean brand double side frying pan (something like the happy call pan). the latter, i was told, all items (the staff cant remember the name) totally out of stock. :scared: i dont know the name too......just heard from friend who heard from another friend.............


i really dislike the staff at the ladies department....... :stompfeet:

why? because they got all my :moneyflies:

家長操練寫字 幼童焦慮自責

【經濟日報專訊】操練文化荼毒幼童；一項調查推算，逾2成家長要求子女默書和背誦，13%安排孩子補習。有小孩卻因自幼被嚴苛要求練字，升讀小學後患焦慮症，常打罵自己；有家長則為令兒子升讀名小學，為他惡補小學課程，令孩子討厭上課。

專家警告，逼迫幼童操練只會扼殺其創意和興趣，建議幼園學生每天只學寫數個生字，並預留時間玩樂。

兩成家長 要求默書背誦

港大教育學院中文教育研究中心訪問逾900間幼稚園共1,200名幼園教師，評估出分別有20%、25%及13%的家長，要求子女默書、背誦及補習，反映教育局警誡多年後，家長仍推崇操練式學習。

家長滿以為子女贏在起跑綫時，卻不知正為其人生旅途添障礙。全人發展中心藝術治療師及資深輔導員唐明敏稱，部分父母要求孩子自幼園練字，且很嚴苛：「寫過界又擦，沒劃勾或勾得太多又擦，要求重寫。」有孩子不肯再寫字，有的則患上焦慮症。

唐憶述：「有個小二學生總自覺寫得不好，擦得紙張都爛掉，又容易發脾氣，拍打自己、罵自己沒用。」父母帶孩子求助，追溯之下，發現是自幼家長要求過高所致。她提醒家長勿逼迫孩子，應多讚賞他們的努力，並讓孩子玩耍減壓。

鋪路升名校 幼園生倦了

聖雅各福群會樂寧兒童發展中心服務經理梁翠雲亦遇過非一般小孩，中文程度超逾一般水平，卻參加了該中心為程度落後幼童而設的課程：「家長覺得學多樣東西沒蝕底，用來玩是浪費時間。」

但那男童每次都疲累地現身，抱怨道：「又上堂？」做工作紙時又非常抗拒。原來他就讀名幼稚園高班，母親為令他升讀名小學出盡法寶：「她安排了一位大學生，每周兩、三次拿着小學教科書為兒子補習，又要抄寫和默書，又要計小學的數學。」梁稱。

男童亦要學游水、球類、鋼琴、跟外籍英語教師學英文及參加記憶班，常為「趕下場」奔走，社工曾提醒媽媽改變，對方卻很猶豫：「我覺得很難取捨，不想糟蹋兒子的潛質。」梁坦言為男童心痛：「孩子常悶悶不樂、不耐煩，難惹人喜歡。」

她又不諱言，有名幼稚園為投家長所好，要求高班生默寫完整句子，如There are many animals in the farm，再列舉多種動物，包括kangaroo，超出幼童負荷：「有男生能力不錯，卻不享受學習！」

她提醒家長：「幼稚園時光應該是睡午覺、玩玩具，培養快樂性格以面對學習和人生！」

港大中文教育研究中心總監謝錫金指，家長應讓孩子透過閱讀及日常生活中認字，如飲茶時學點心的寫法；但少抄寫，幼兒班（K1）及低班（K2）每天只宜寫幾個生字，且不必工整，高班（K3）則每日寫幾個字、每個寫幾次，免令他們喪失學習興趣。
