Hi, does anyone know if the intake for P1 will be increased with the new campus?

Those who have gone for Phase 2B balloting, would you know if there were many PRs vs citizens last time? Would the new MOE changes help in a citizen's chances at Phase 2B? coz if most of the pple at Phase 2B were citizens anyway, then it is still very low chance...
hi cherrygal, i went with my fren for 2B balloting for 2011 P1 intake.

more SC than PR. even with the old campus, the no. of class remains at 7. thus unlikely they will increase.

          Hi mommies,

My girl is in p1 this year. One of her teachers seems to be on sick leave or urgent leave regularly. I am so used to hearing her say X is not here again. Do u have similar experiences? Understand that p1 teachers will follow up the girls to p2. Is this still the practice? If that’s the case, my dd would have to be prepared to be more independent and do more self-study. Hope to hear from the rest…

            hi cherrygal,

i suggest this coming July P1 registration, on phase 2C balloting day, you go down witness how the field registration fever heat is like. On the white board, they’ll put up how many SC, PRs apply against number of vacancies.

My DD p3 Chi teacher also absent Very regularly. I wonder why? and their class chinece lesson always 1-2 chapter behind others. previously just rush thru for Ca1. I gave up already, told my DD can't depend on her teacher anymore. we got to work hard at home. otherwise will be very rush to cover for SA1 or no time to digest / revise before exam.

Great idea! How to know what time they start balloting? Must call the school...

If I even try this school, it will be Phase 2B.

nearer the time in July, MOE website will publish the dates for phase 1 to 2C. Note down the date of balloting for phase 2B, go down and witness. It is good to watch "live", doubts or queries can clarify with Principal / Vice Principal on the spot.
