Good. Shouldn't anyhow spread till made people worry.:rahrah:
GOOD!!!
I think people must learn to be responsible for what they post. And also to try to verify what they hear before spreading it around like it is true. -
tutormum:
Just heard from 2 of my students. One claimed that the school principal announced that one of the P1 boy was abducted while another also claimed something similar happened in his school and the police was there. Wonder how true these are and if so, why nothing from the Police?
They are from the East. I'm not sure if they are repeating what they heard around them and made up stories but the way they told me was they were 100% sure of what they were talking about and I even double confirm with them that they were not lying. Anyway, just by careful with our kids. Probably the Police can come up with more information later. -
Oppsgal:
the case still under investigationSo the AMK hub one is real or not :?
Should catch the one who is spreading rumor. :nunchuk: -

Phew! But no matter what we still need to be alert and don't let our guard down..
Yesterday we were shopping at NTUC and I overheard a daddy telling one of his 2 sons \"xxx, hold on to mummy's hand\".. sounds familiar as i told my kids the same thing too nowadays when we are outside..

ya, now everywhere i go, atmosphere seems to be so tense, hearing grandparents reminding their grandchildren dont talk to strangers, even my son tuition centre had locked up the main door after all the students are in the classroom, all parents have to wait outside and not the waiting lounge.

too much rumour mongering
CID is watching all internet forum discussion
please don't post anything you can't substantiate, unless you want to risk being called up for investigation -

I guess at such times, we are reminded that it is always good to stay vigilant and alert and to teach our children about safety.
