I believe P5 and P6 still under junior category; will need to know the number of participants on the percentile to qualify for dist/credit/etc to better interpret the performance.

      P6 is under open category.
Yah, hard to know without info on the actual number of participants. DS (P6) managed 95.87 percentile, but under cert of credit ie. 51-120. So I believe need to be at least 96-97% to get into top 50.

Hi, I would like to interpret the results if my DS's results is in the 84 percentile. Is it an ave or above ave score?

May I know your DS is in what primary?

        My DS is in P5.

Since P5 & P6 under different categories, are they being graded together? So the top 50 includes both P5 and P6 and they take the same paper?

My dc got almost 98 but still cert of credit only. If 5000 or more participants, one needs to be in the 99 percentile to go to round 2. Anyone managed to get into round 2 can provide some clues about the percentile needed to qualify for round 2?

I did some calculation: if 95.87 being ranked 120th, then there were 2906 pupils attended the exam. If someone's percentile is 98.21, he will get in the top 52 (P6 Cohort), so 98% is at least ranked 58th, so near yet so far...
