      Micollh,

I use Electrolux EDI97170W. It’s a condenser dryer so there is no need for a vent pipe to lead d hot air out of d house. The distiller water is probably for the steam function if your dryer has one. I was given a bottle together with the dryer but I have not used it before. Basically the water from the clothes that the dryer is drying is condensed n collected in a container. If there is enough water in that container, we can also run the steam function. The steam function can be used to help lessen the creases on the clothes or to refresh the clothes. So far I have only tried the ironAid function a few times for my DD’s child care uniform. But I would say, if you want to get a condenser dryer, can do w/o the ironAid function.

Celebrating 3 months maidless now. Including those transitional times between maids (in the last 2 years) will be ONE year NO maids!

Now just have a part-time Singaporean auntie once a week.

Life is busier but worth it. :rahrah:

            My part-time maid:

            1) irons
            2) sweeps and mops floor
            3) cleans kitchen ( i.e wipes cabinet, cleans stove, washes sink)
            4) changes bed sheets
            5) washes toilets

That’s really all she does I think… She comes about 3 hours each time. There were only 3 of us and the ironing load was really small and she doesn’t have to iron the pajamas and home clothes… I think I paid 12 per hr but that was 4/5 years ago… I think ironing, washing the loos and the kitchen really helps me cos these chores take a few hours on a Saturday for me!..She doesn’t clean houses anymore so can’t help with contact…

I remembered someone mentioned about dishwasher before…

Anyway have good reviews and recommendations for it? Kitchen is already quite small, thinking if a countertop one is good and capacity big enough.
I cook daily and there is quite a pile of dishes to do after dinner every nite. I am thinking of getting a dishwasher so that i can have more time to coach my kids in their studies.

Me too, I’ve been talking about it since forever but never got on to it. Now that the electrical tariff gone up, I’m hesitating even more but still, thinking of it.
