How did/will you celebrate your birthday?

My parents usually give me an angpow and DH and DD and I will usually go somewhere to eat.

well now…actually my dd celeb. for me. she nags n get money from daddy to get me a gift and cake, hand made card etc.

I actually put up this thread, because, on 7th November, it was my birthday, and I just wanted to know how YOU GUYS would celebrate your birthdays...

Celebration usually starts with colleague and friends buying me treats and cake. I’ll take a day off from work on my bday. In order to relax for the day before going for dinner treats by DH. MY DS would usually draw me something as my gift.

buds dreadfully counting down the days when she gets another year older.

up... hahaa! :lol: But when we're ermmm ehemm... a lil matured... guess
the hope to count downwards to minus the wrinkles, the paunch, the sag,
sigh... buds remembers anxiously anticipating to turn sweet 17... :lol: ...
followed by 21, when one so call gets the key to freedom... ahakz... :lol:
... but yet now when all that has passed much too quickly... buds ain't
reali anticipating this coming one... But then again, what the heck rite?

Me celebrating the big FOUR O next year.....
Am thinking of either running away for a whole week of luxurious spa holiday by myself :love: (anyone got any suggestions of where to splurge??) buds dear, you can tag along lah, that count for prezzy?

Hv a huge big BBQ, ala buffet style with whole suckling pig roast and racks of lambs/ribs, seafood, 50 types of desserts, salad bar, a wet bar, etc and invite everyone, buds first on my invites list, followed by kakis in the foodies thread...... :celebrate:
