Public transport wise, there is a bus that (961) goes to RGPS from WDL bus interchange but i think the journey is very far ... 41 bus stops. (Nanyang 45 bus stops, Nanhua i thk 30+ bus stops, the rest of the schools no direct bus from WDL). woodlands is so ulu.
Wow. That is far. Can you send yourself? Otherwise, it's a very long commute daily. Hard on your child. Maybe you'll get lucky and find a GE school with school bus that serves the Woodlands area only. -

Saw the school bus list in CH websites... S$106 per month for transport to Yishun/Woodlands... -

Anyway can be use as guideline on how much you'll pay for school bus..
Currently also having headache... if the boy go CH, then the younger sister will be left behind... -
I paid for $122 per month for ds school bus from CCK to NHPS.

Called the school bus driver of CH , its $114 this year, next year increase with 1 child 1 seat.

Whatever it is, these kids are all very bright and it is not really important whether one is at the top or bottom of the top 1%. Making it to the top 1% is already a very remarkable feat in itself.

I am wondering is there a need for the younger sibling to follow to GEP school, especially if the 'old' school is nearer to home?

Also, from earlier explanation given, seems like those who passed the first round but never make it to 2nd round (top 5% in Singapore), will still be 'guided' accordingly in those GEP schools... compare to those 'non-GEP' school... -

Yup... agree.. they won't indicate in the report books on what are their ranking... in the GEP, all students are specials.. nobody better or worse...Whatever it is, these kids are all very bright and it is not really important whether one is at the top or bottom of the top 1%.
