HSBC Tree top walk
-
Anyone of you been to the tree top walk at Macritche? This is also a good way to experience the outdoor. The trek in to get to the bridge is a demanding 5Km…and after crossing the short like anything bridge and seeing dunno what…it is another tiring 5km trek back. Loads of fun.
Try it. -
Our kids love it too!

where is the place?

If you've young kids, park at the Venus drive carpark, then it's a short 1 hr walk to the tree-top.
Been there several times, like the serenity of the place..away from crowded malls and parks. -
took 7yo dd for a walk just last week, initially at the start of the track she’s very enthusiatic, but towards the end she’s got tired and became whiny so had to carry her out!
so be prepared for it if you are taking youth kids for HSBC walk, it’s pretty tough on them cos we took 2.5 hrs to & fro! -

Wow 1 hour to walk inside the tree top :? Any mosquitoes around? Advisable to bring insect repellant? Possible to cycle in a not?

hi all,
there was a post by someone else.. or another forum.
- To/Fro from venus is easily 6 km.
- road is up and down, and a lot of insects
- clear your bladder at rest stop before the bridge
- bridge close at 1700, so if you are bringing small kiddos, beware.
To the little feets, this hiking trail is like army Brunei training hee hee.

Hi,
I heard that there are 2 routes to the tree-top walk…one is much longer so I think need to do some research first. But I went and my kids really enjoyed themselves! They came back interested in nature as well.
