Travel: Singapore - Universal Studio

I went during the June holidays and it was really crowded. All the rides had queues averaging at least 50 minutes. I think it also coincided with the Malaysian school hols… You’re lucky that manager gave you good advice!

We went during March holidays. It is our family's 3rd visit. We had planned to go early, but when we woke up that morning, it was raining. So we went to Tiong bahru for breakfast, hoping the rain will stop when we are done. :xedfingers: Unfortunately no.
We then decided to go Vivocity for a walk. Hoping against hope that the rain stops. But then after window shopping at Toys R us, it was still raining. By then it was almost lunch and we still refuse to give up, and decided to go to the malysian food street for lunch. :rotflmao:
You see the trend...we were moving closer and closer to USS. Then after lunch when we came out....hey...no rain, just a few drops!!! :rahrah: In we went to Universial. I tell you it was really great. No lines! Almost walk in everywhere immediately. The kids went on Transformers 3 times!! The longest wait was only 15 mins!! We walked on to battlestar, madagascar, mummy, the kiddy coaster at Far far away, etc etc!! When we left around 6.30pm, we were dead tired, but considering we only went in at 2pm, we did almost everything :imcool: :imcool: -
The rain was a blessing after all, eh? Hehe!
-
Hahaha…yes yes. If anyone ask me for best time to go USS, I’ll say after heavy rain! Hehehe

We brought our 2 year old boy to Universal Studio last Year on a weekday before the Nov/ Dec school holidays and we managed to watch most of the performances, take photos with lots of characters and go for all the kiddie rides. In fact we even go on the carousel a few times as the queues are all very short. The queues and the waiting times are definitely much shorter than those at Hong Kong Disneyland.

Hi
Planning to have family time 3D2N stay at the Festive Hotel in Sentosa during the June sch holiday.
Any good deals now ? -
Hi,
My dd who is 9 years old is very eager to try out the revenge of the mummy ride in UNiversal studio Singapore.
Have any of your kids, about the same age as my DD gone for this ride before?
Did they manage ok?
My DD is the eager beaver while I am unsure about letting her go for the ride.
Feedback if any is very much appreciated.
Many thanks in advance! -
Hi!
We didn’t try.my son also 9 yrs old. -
Both my DS 10 and his cousin 12 yrs old, didnt try the ride.
I tried. It wasn’t so scary as it was a really short ride. -
My DS did the ride when he was 8. There are sudden jerks, stops and and can seem pretty scary if one is not use to roller coaster rides in the dark. We did the ride twice and DS was okay with it.. ..Perhaps kinda brief her before the ride..
