Luckily withdrawing don't need all these original documents.
Moe might change this rule to prevent the rush flow of withdrawal and application at the last minute. -
Wonder would all the school would provides live update a not with a LCD screen indicating 1km, 1-2km & 2 km during the MOE registration. :boogie:

I think register my boy at Mee Toh, pls advice. thanks
For Mee Toh School, she had been conducting balloting exercise for applicants staying within 1 km of the school during Phase 2C P1 Registration Exercise.
Applicants who stay outside 1km of the school will not be eligible to participate in the balloting exercise.
2011 Mee Toh was 2 times oversubscribed.
for every 2 kids, only 1 get in.

Need some opinion from parents, which is a better option to register my girl:
1. KongHwa - under 2A2 (but far from home)
2. KCPPS - under 2C 1-2km (2011 ballot conducted) -
For my case, we are under 2B, the registration date is 19/20 July. As mentioned by other parents, the balloting will only be done after these 2 days, so we just go there and submit our document, right? Then on the daily statistics, we can only see how many have registered out of the total seats for 2B, rather than the take up rate since it’s not available yet, is it?
Then when and how will the school inform parents about the balloting result? Do we need to be present when balloting?
Please kindly advise. Thanks. -

Yes.springwater:
You may also call the school to enquire. The daily statistics for a particular phase are cumulative, that is, the number for Day 2 will include those who apply on Days 1 and 2. So, in a way, you should be able to calculate what is the take up rate. Then on the daily statistics, we can only see how many have registered out of the total seats for 2B, rather than the take up rate since it's not available yet, is it?

For P2B, results will be announced on 25 Jul. This is the date when schools usually conduct balloting. No, you don't have to be present during the balloting. If you are successful, the school will send you one of the carbon copies of the registration form that you fill in when you register. Alternatively, usually what parents do is to call up the school to enquire about the outcome of the balloting. Then when and how will the school inform parents about the balloting result?
