Principal of top school under investigation for hiring prost

he has commerical sex with a hooker who claimed to be over 18 when they met. on the website, pimp also said over 18.
now, he knows they lied. so is the girl gonna be punished and very happy pimp is punished though it is more of running an illegal sex trade and not about the age lie.
it does sound familar…
employer selected a maid from agency. bio data clearly stated 26 years old, can cook, can babysit, obedient. checked with staff at agency, all info correct. maid came but cannot cook, cannot babysit, not so obedient. worse, actual age is 19.
employer punished in the sense has to go thru the whole process of choosing a maid again or lose $$$ if has to return maid etc. maid, nothing happens (even didnt pass the age criteria can still remain in singapore for transfer) just wait for new employer. agency - the biggest winner. -
LOLMum:
in this case the \"pimp\" who \"prostitute\" the maid is not punished ...... hope Subbas will bring this kind of case precedent to defend his client ? or, maid employer's lawyer should quote the case of the underage prostitution as a precedent case to bring maid agencies to task .......he has commerical sex with a hooker who claimed to be over 18 when they met. on the website, pimp also said over 18.

Personally, this punishment seems too high.

i think he has brought shame and disrepute to the school and the rank of principal
And afterall the court should consider that mistaking a 17 year old to be 18+ is a feasibility...
Anyway, The price he had to pay is far more than the 9 weeks.
I still believe the onus is on the man to ensure the age, but i felt the court will met out a lighter sentence. -
Read from CNA that the wife of the former principal has forgiven him and even proposed to renew their wedding vows…not easy, must be a tough decision for her to forgive her husband’s mistake, the shame he has brought to their family, and believe that he is truly remorseful and will not commit the same mistake again. But I guess this is what true love is, thru’ good and bad times…never forsake, never give up…

Yes, his wife magnanimous - had forgiven him, let him move forward in life.
Lee said his wife had \"magnanimously taken a tough decision\" to forgive him and even proposed to reaffirm their wedding vows.

Love never fail. Love Conquer all.
The GREATEST of All is ... LOVE
maybe he can consider go overseas for a while, start a new career afresh.
The world is still very huge. A few years after whole saga died down, people won't bother to remember anymore.
gone with the wind ! -

Wow, that former teacher not bad looking leh. The Shaw grandson pleaded not guilty...if there is evidence, how can he plead no guilty ???which fellow ?
how about that MOE scholar and Shaw guy ?
The judge sentenced that ex-principal so fast ?
For rapist, they should be castrated and jailed for life. -
just wondering aloud ...
for those who do not plead guility, will they get slightly longer sentence compared to those who plead guility (show repentance and remorse) ?
will Shaw grandson also get 9 weeks jail term ?
ya, that former teacher good looking, so sayang ... so wasted, such a brillant career destroyed overnight. He's a high flyer. Like a kite flying so high up in the sky, suddenly the string just snapped, down to the ground it nose dived ! Very sad

It must have been very hard for this wife to stand by her man...especially he has cheated on her. If the ex-principal had done something similar to Jack Neo, he would not have to go to jail. JN incident over liao...but this Lee guy would have a stigma for the rest of his life.
Since he knows he is wrong, and evidence is against him, no point getting lawyer. Face punishment, do soul searching during that period and move on...That is the hardest part. -

Ironically, these 2 men are educators. Actually this former teacher is good looking...the ex-principal not that ugly either...what can they do after serving jail ? Since they didn't kill or rob...hopefully they can still do something after jail term.

ya, they are different from that Shaw grandson and those businessmen.
Even after they come out - their business still intact, still got job.
actually in this world, there are many poor children who need to receive good education. eg: Look at Indonesia - billions of children are deprived of chance to study. So many of them hunger for opportunities to learn English from young. But many are so poor, lack funds.
after they serve jail term, maybe they can consider go overseas explore how to help these poor needy children. If they are truly repentant, God sees their heart. God can turn situation around, bring him over the other side of the mountain. God will open up a way for them - when there seems to be no way. When one window close, somehow, somewhere, another window will open up.
recall what happen to Moses ?
after Moses accidentally killed an Egyptian, he ran off to hide somewhere in some remote mountaneous area far away place, tend to sheep. It was during this time that God moulding him for an important HIGHER cause. All these time, Moses was learning humility. But God has HIGHER purpose for him, an important major assignment awaiting him. If a person is truly repentant, with God’s divine intervention - God will make a way, when there seems to be no way. Moses later became a great hero, a great leader. He led the Hebrew slaves out of Egypt.
