Hi! I am a newbie in here.

I have noticed that from 2012, the spaces will be given to Singapore citizen for first priority. We are just PR and we are living <1pm from Bukit Panjang primary school. Is it still worth for me to apply in BPPS?

If u r PR then no need to think of BPPS even u stay 1m away...
U may want to try West View already for ur child in P2C. I think this is the only sch that no balloting in P2C

            How about zheng hwa?
May i know ur child born in which year?
If can, then do PV in Beacon or Greenridge to try to get a place in P2B.
As for Zhenghua in P2C, im not so sure.
Last year, there are some left over to P2C Supp so u may want to try...
I prefer West View to Zheng Hua 😉

Sadly, my son was born in 2006. So we need to apply in July.

I just wonder will the school count n sort the applications before the phase end?

What do you mean by \"count n sort\"? :scratchhead:

Schools need to count the number of applicants and sort them by distance to ascertain whether balloting is required and if so, what distance.

For some schools, if balloting is confirmed for those staying within 1 km, they will inform applicants staying beyond 1 km to withdraw their applications. However, not all schools do this.

                  Dear parents,

Need your help. Just wanted to find out anyone stays at Blk 184 Jelebu Road? I went to Onemap and my block is classified under 1 to 2km but Blk 185 and Blk 183 is classified under <1km…

I am registering my dd this year for her P1. Thank you.

To be frank... If ur child is a PR then u have only West View or Zheng Hua to enrol

I suppose you are talking about BPPS. Yes, the other two blocks are in the within 1 km category whereas your block is in the 1-2 km category.

                        mummy of 3:

If u can be a PV in Greenridge and Beacon, i can say that 99% ur child can get a place.
If u dun wan to be PV then u can forget abt Beacon as there r balloting within 1km.
                        Hi Mummy of 3,

I'm kinda of blur on your above statements.

For beacon, If stay within 1km, do PV, need to ballot, why u say 99% the child can get a place?

                        Pls advise.

                        Thanks.
