Is it non flowering plant?
If non flowering plnat then we can they can produced by spores.

Yup, all non-flowering plants reproduced by spores.
I remember like that.

Now I think through it does make sense. If no flower means no seed then how the plant reproduce? Must be like ferns through spores. Rats!! I don’t even remember. Thanks!

If the plant is not a non-flowering plant, you can say the following:

Both can't move from place to place freely

Both respond to changes slowly

PS: For P3 level, yes, all non-flowering plants reproduce by spores, but some non-flowering plants do reproduce by seeds. I can not remember the examples, but I am sure that I saw this in more than one book (assessment book???? guide??? Not sure).

Depending on how strict is her marker, she may not get full marks, or she may get the answer wrong because she left out some keywords:
Both cannot move from place to place by themselves.

Plants can actually move by themselves...but under 'response to changes', with reference to mimosa plants 'move' by closing its leaf petals when touched.

Some suggested answers:
- Both need air, food and water to survive
- Both cannot move from place to place by themselves
- Both respond to changes around them by moving some of their plant parts
- Both can reproduce

Someone suggested to avoid statements such as 'All non-flowering plants reproduce by spores.' Conifers is an example of a non-flowering plant that reproduce using seeds.
