I agree with you. The tests are more important than the homework, at this point in time.

How can we expect children to pass difficult tests if overloaded with homework (at the same time as the tests that are to be sat).

Some teachers give homework for the sake of giving ... In my DD case, there are quite a few worksheets given out since term 1 still haven't return back to us :faint: ... so i presume they are not marked yet.

Hi mn,

Once th paper is over, whether easy or tough, we have to encourage our children not to dwell too much on it. Concentrate on the next paper / challenge. Move on ... Jia you ! :stompfeet:

DD is having science paper tomorrow. HCL is next Tuesday! She said Eng & Maths were okay but MT is tough. DD didn’t really prepare well for SA1 as she was involved in SYF. So I don’t set my expectation so high this time.

Done with compo exam and Listening Comprehension. 2moro Eng Paper 2. After long weekend, Math/CL and Science. Wow, your daughter having Math paper already ? Lucky my boy still has a weekend to revise.
