        Hi all

A few hv asked about czps environment. They have loads of pgms for the kids n parents to help them succeed academically. The teachers invest time in the kids. It wd be worth your while to try to secure a place for your child in the school. My elder son got into the school on appeal. We were not successful in getting into St Hilda’s which is within walking distance from my home. I then wrote an appeal to czps altho I had not applied for it in any of the phases. But I must say, the school helped to develop the gen in him. He even went to Australia for a school trip in P4 and in P6, he represented school and country for an international competition in the States. So if u wonder about neighbourhood schools, I say czps try harder than the better and more popular schools.
For those who are looking at schools that are far away from home, I would suggest that you reconsider as the kids will have supplementary lessons from P3 onwards. THe school bus does not provide a ride back.

        Hope it helps.

2 days ago, I sent my girl to sch. The principal was talking to a mother near the sch gate. I believe the mother must have complaint abt something. The principal suddenly raised her voice and asked the mother to shut up & listen to her!!! She reprimanded the lady for interrupting her. The lady was mad and walked away immediately. The principal gave a nasty look at her. :nailbite:

I was utterly shocked! :yikes: Is that the way how a principal shd behave??!! She truly disgusted me and I really worried for the sch's future. A mother is always a mother, she will definitely feel anxious and worry when it comes to her own kids' problem. Shdn't the principal show some empathy towards the parents rather than just wanna get her points across? :scratchhead: LISTEN FIRST and the parents will automatically listen to what you want to say. She has given me an impression that she is very defensive, sceptical towards comments and couldn't accept complaints. Din have a gd impression of her since. I really love the previous principal, Mrs Singh, whom many parents praises a lot. Mrs Singh is GOOD, I personally feel it too. She is the ONE who has built the gd reputation and push up the std for CZPS.

I think it is unfair for u to make a judgement without knowing what is going on. Besides, are u sure that the person is actually the principal. My niece is in Chongzheng n we have only praises for the principal. She is caring n show genuine love n concern for the kids. The teachers there are very committed n if the principal is as you have describe, do u think the teachers will still be there n work so hard. :siam: 🦆

I’m 100% sure that is the principal.

The teachers are very committed, no doubt abt it. I believe the teachers stay put and give in their best for the sake of the students and their belief & passion in teaching.

Probably a bad day at work. Like what some hv feedback, i feel CZ tries hard for their students. But of coz this translate into tougher job for the teachers there. I’m aware becoz i’ve friends teaching in CZ and my boy is in CZ as well.
