I am looking for a centre which is more well-rounded and include hands on activities or even experiments. Any centres or private tutors to recommend?

I'm currently sending my child to Newcastle education centre, however it seems like the centre only provides worksheets and commercially available assessment books. I'm disappointed as it doesn't seem to help my child who has a short attention span. I am looking for a centre which is more well-rounded and include hands on activities or even experiments. At Mastery, we believed that students learn better with hands-on activities.

At Science Alive Learning Centre, our lessons are uniquely aided with MOE syllabus-based hands-on experiments and related worksheets to strengthen our students’ knowledge and application of the Science concepts, allowing them to excel in their exams.

I do experiments in my Secondary level classes. It is a great way to learn science. I remember enjoying that style of learning when I was in Secondary school in the US. Descriptions of our classes are here: http://physicsandcalculus.com/singapore-physics-tuition

My son attended the science workshop at Up activity center. Cheap and good! It's not really tuition, but for encouraging curiosity, it's alright. check out the facebook. http://www.facebook.com/upkidssingapore.

Does anyone have any more recent recommendations? I am also looking for something more hands-on and more focussed on exploring science outside of the school curriculum. Not trying to teach ahead of the school but satisfying my son’s curiosity. I find the primary school curriculum very limited and rigid so I don’t want him to lose his interest and passion for science.
