      phtthp:
you can visit the respective school website.

most schools post their past years \"P1 Registration\" detailed information.
thank you so much phtthp! šŸ˜„

        Hi all,

Appreciate if someone can chip in your views. I’m so vexed over the following choices:

        1. Gongshang primary - Qualify for 2A. Though they produced a student in one of the years, I m not sure of the general standard as my son is very playful and not the self-motivated type.
        2. White Sands Pri - I stay within 1km but looks like balloting is usually required even for 1km under 2C. Kiasuparents seem to rank them higher than Gongshang under academic excellence.
        3. St Hilda- My most preferred cos of GEP. My in-laws stay within 1-2km. But looks tough as I heard even acceptance for PV is tough.
        4. Maris Stella - Thinking of moving there but it means I will not have parental support. (I m a working mum.)

Thank you in advance for any kind advice!

Hello parents, we're considering whether to send our boy to Ngee Ann Primary/Tanjong Katong Primary, which are near our home, or to move house so that we can be near River Valley Primary, where we qualify under phase 2A.

Ease of admission aside, which school is academically stronger? And which of the schools is better for well-rounded development (eg. in character building, music, arts or sports) outside of academic success? Would be grateful if anyone can give feedback and examples. Thanks for your help. šŸ˜„

my DD will be P1 in 2013. right now, we are down to three choices:

            - Loyang Primary
            - Casuarina Primary
            - Coral Primary
we are actually nearest White Sands Primary but since we are foreigners, I doubt there will still be a vacancy in Phase3.
I hope somebody can give feedback on these schools.

              Hi Parents,

Need your advise here, I am in a dilemma as to which school i should \"target\" for my girl (Yr 2008).

-within 1km of my mum's house, there's PLMGS (abt 20 mins from home)
-within 1km of my MIL's house, there's CHIJ St Nic (abt 30 mins from home)
-within 1km of my house, there's Edgefield PS (next to my block)
-My own primary school - CHIJ OLN

My 2 main considerations are Christian school (grow up in Christian environment) and shorter distance from my home to the school. Should I target on PLMGS and PV there? Will I have a better chance there or should I just settle on Edgefield which is the nearest?
              :thankyou: very much!

If u r using ur parent's address, it will be within 2km not 1km.
Just fyi. I think u stick to your own school or the school next to ur block.

                  Hi,

I’m in a dilemma on which school should I choose to send my kid to.

                  a) Red Swastika
                  b) Pei Chun Pri

I’m staying in the east which is 10-15mins drive from Red Swatika. But apprently, Pei Chun seems to be a better school as compare to Red Swastika.

                  Thanks!

Just send to CHIJ OLN your own school at Phase 2A. No competition at all and it's a better school than Edgefield bah...

Dun bother with CHIJ St Nic's... too hard to get in and you have no chance unless you PV/Catholic and live within 1km yourself (not your MIL).
