Try neutrogena spf 30. not white-ish or oily.
Unfortunately for sunscreen to be effective they need that physical layercoz otherwise nothing to block the sun with. You can try using BB cream or powder over the sunscreen to reduce the white/oily feel.Oppsgal:
Some sunscreen very oily looking on my skin, others look white after apply on skin, make me look like a ghost.
Don't buy neutrogena spf 50 though, very white no matter how hard I try to blend the sunblock.
I'm also using lab series (for men) sunblock, not white-ish either. -
Imami:
Do you ladies apply the toner via a soaked through cotton wool? Or just piak the toner onto the face (think skii commercial)?
I use facial cotton for toner. Sometimes can see a layer of 'dirt' after sweeping cotton over my face even though I just cleanse. So I guess the facial cotton further cleanse, slightly? -
I’ve been using clarins for many many years but I find it’s losing its effect.
I noticed face is somewhat like hair, need to alternate between products so it doesn’t get used to that particular product & become immune
For toner, I’m using clarins & lab series (for men). No particular preference, I can’t tell the difference between these 2.
However, I don’t like toner that contains alcohol, so no more clinique toner for me.
For day moisturiser, I just finished up clarins night cream (I use it for day) so kiv 1st. Before getting my next clarins night cream, I’m using weleda (organic) lotion and lab series face cream in the interim for a change.
Don’t really like lab series face cream though, I find it too rich so kind of difficult to apply makeup immediately. Alright if just use as base before slapping on sunblock.
For eyes, clarins & lab series. Both good. I alternate between these 2.
For night I like lab series renewal serum’s texture. Absorb quickly and not oily.
I’ve tried Origins bedtime face cream. Can’t stand the smell. Wasteful if discard the entire bottle so I applied on my arms instead. I’ve also tried Aubrey (organic) moisturiser. Again, can’t stand the smell. -
Angelight:
I've tried Weleda and Aubrey moisturiser. Both organic. Weleda is good although I prefer a larger quantity. One tiny tube ran out pretty quickly, need to keep re-ordering. I don't like Aubrey's smellAny of you using organic-based or natural skincare products, that means no chemical ingredients, only plant or fruit based?

Didn't try men's skincare before. what's the different between men and women skincare products? -

My beautician tried to squeeze for me but really too painful so I gave up.
i also used tis b4... my neck smells nice and smoothens after applicationsleepy:
Been using clarins neck cream for years. Good!
But recently it gave me oil clots at the neck region. Not sure why this problem only surface now after using for many years.
did u go facials to remove e oil clots?
Now I use clarins neck cream less often, probably once a week.
I switch to lab series night serum & weleda lotion on my neck. Less oily than clarins neck cream -
northernstar:
I cannot drink the essence range as I have gastric easily. Even after food, still will gastric.
ya, tis essence is rather sweet. i'm not sure but my skin is less oily now. maybe, 2 weeks? but i dunno its cos of drinkin tis or cos of e products i use.chloecube:
i am not to sure either, just tried out for a week
i will feedback again in a month time
was rather depress this 2 weeks as my face suddnely broke out, could be due to stress. then i read in some of the forum saying Hakubi sato is good. so i just try them out
i had tried Prune essence before too, but find it too sweet for me
took one box and stop before i can see result
does it really help in ur skin? how long u see the effect? -
Oppsgal:
Is it need to apply at least spf 50 to avoid pigmentation?
I must have sunscreen with Spf50, anything lower than 50, only apply to body.

Oh no, have I been under-protecting? I've been using spf 30
I think not much difference between men & women skin care. I go for texture & smell. I like lab series texture, pretty light, except for the face cream. Even its sunblock smell nice. In fact, I think its eye gel is slightly better than clarins, glides on so easily and can apply eye make up immediately
And I thought I can share with dh. But he's usually too lazy to apply moisturiser so mostly I'm the only one using

ladies, what about make up remover? do you believe in branded ones?
My gf swear by fancl oil. I tried the sample, didn’t like it le. I still prefer my cheap cheap make up remover.
I’m using nivea for eyes & neutrogean deep clean for face. Neutrogena can be use for eyes too but somehow I feel that nivea cleanse better for eyes.
Even when not applying make up, I would sometimes use neutrogena to cleanse before using facial wash
Speaking of facial wash, I like neutrogena too. My mum swear by skII and kept prompting me to switch.
Hmm… I thought it’s kind of wasteful to use such an expensive facial wash, got to wash off anway. I rather pay more for moisturiser than facial wash. But my gf said cleansing is the most important step so she rather invest on a good cleanser.
What do you ladies think? -

for oil clots, my beautician pricks the skin with a needle first then press the yellow stuff out, it is painful but shiok.
