I don't use sunblock cos it is too........ooooo oily for my face. Prefer brolly....but cannot use in Geylang.
My sil puts her stuff in fridge. Cold cold feeling when applied on face :imcool:
Sure they know.. Brolly, Geylang very well used in other topic.

Come to think of it, most of you are using branded stuff. I wonder if I am missing something? I have tried biotherm, skii, ester lauder, clinique but always end up using those cheaper range. Not exactly on a budget though but somehow the high end ones have never got me hooked...
My only expensive one is la mer cream. Others mainly from body shop and counter type... Not ex at all. -
I used La Mer once (birthday gift). I used only a teeny bit everyday. The bottle lasted more than a year! And my skin was really nice! Didn’t buy when it finished coz icouldn’t bring myself to spend the money…
I use Cetaphil to wash my face. It’s not drying and leaves skin soft. If I have makeup to remove (which is rarely), I use Ponds cold cream before washing again with Cetaphil… If it worked for mum and grandma, it’ll work for me… -

I always buy from parallel importers. I bought the entire clarins range at 35% off shelve price, very affordable yo

I also dont like fancl oil too.ladies, what about make up remover? do you believe in branded ones?
My gf swear by fancl oil. I tried the sample, didn't like it le. I still prefer my cheap cheap make up remover.
I'm using nivea for eyes & neutrogean deep clean for face. Neutrogena can be use for eyes too but somehow I feel that nivea cleanse better for eyes.
Even when not applying make up, I would sometimes use neutrogena to cleanse before using facial wash
Speaking of facial wash, I like neutrogena too. My mum swear by skII and kept prompting me to switch.
Hmm.... I thought it's kind of wasteful to use such an expensive facial wash, got to wash off anway. I rather pay more for moisturiser than facial wash. But my gf said cleansing is the most important step so she rather invest on a good cleanser.
What do you ladies think?
For eye makeup remover,
i found Maybelline or Neutrogena Eye and mascara makeup remover is cheap and good.
For cleanser and day skincare, i am using LANCOME blanc expert range.
The cream cleanser is gentle and yet gives a thorough cleansing.
For scrub, i like clinque daily scrub, very fine granules.
yes, i also like the neutrogena deep cleanser.
I use Cetapil too but only when i do not wear my makeup. -

Oh yes, i agree......Just want to share about Eye make-up remover.. ...
Sometimes branded stuff does not mean they work well de..
Bought Bobbi Brown remover and totally amazed at how ineffective they are....short of disposing them... :stupid:
That's y for eye makeup remover, i settle for juz Maybelline or Neutrogena.... -

Hehe... I don't wash my face early in the morning le. Watched 女人我最大 & one of the 'experts' mentioned the natural shine when we woke up is in fact the best moisturiser. So we should leave it on for as long as possible. I told my beautician about the natural moisturiser but she disagreed. Anyway, only when I'm about to leave the house around noon time that I will cleanse & apply moisturer/sunblock.[For me, even in the morning I use cleasing oil. At night no sunscreen applied.
Cleasing oil remove oil from my oily skin. -

I'll start staring at those ladies in hats when I'm out now.. ...auntieM:
[quote=\"LOLMum\"]i think the best thing to do to delay/prevent sun damage to our face and neck these days is to wear a hat.
taka has some nice big hats and hopefully we can start a trend.
and wonder which KSP parent it is.. ..
But to ask me to put on a hat and walk ard in SG, i find it funny leh.....macham tourists...haha
