      The responses are so funnae!!

But methinks that the owner is guilty as the men charged. He should be hauled to court too

      Indeed a generous gesture.

Perhaps as a sign of appeasement, redemption or deflection in case the hotel's reputation is tarnished??

      Timing is just too coincidental.
I am sure d timing was deliberate n he had other considerations other than wat was publicly stated.
He is not personally liable for wat goes on in d hotel rooms.
However, he wld be concerned abt public scrutiny n increase pressure fr
more frequent police checks affecting his business from recent revelations.
Past experience has shown he is a survivor.
He wld hv suffer much greater losses if his hotel license was suspended.

      He donates some money – is seen as doing some public good;
gets a warning; he tightens his internal management; mollifies d public
n d money helps poor n needy students.
      A win-win-win arrangement.

TS, I understand his donation is disbursed as bursaries,

not a scholarship with any strings attached.

Hotel 81 is the most popular place to be IN now.

No need any more marketing. HOT enough.

popular choice for Hen in Heat?? :scratchhead:

This hotel is very popular now...read from news that customers (foreign) queue up on Sundays for 2 hour slot.

Dear parents, any one know what’s the procedure and schedule to register the Parent Volunteer in Catholic High for P1 kid in 2014?

Hows the successful rate after working as PV?

Did Catholic High recognize the Community Serivces(such as servicing for RC 2 years) as part of its PV?

              Thanks for any advice.

maybe owner feels guilty .... after 48 men career destroyed in SG latest island-wide sex scandal with an underaged teenager. Once they go jail got criminal record cannot erase, which company employ them, even in private sector ? When they fill up job application form for interview, the first thing that Human Resource ask is, \"do you have any criminal record ?\" if answer Yes, it continue \"Please provide further details of criminal offence.\"

for whatever reason(s), there is no way he can deny that the scene of crime wasn't committed in his hotel chain bedroom(s). He also did not do anything to check, stop nor prevent that underaged prostitute(s) from entering his hotel, for sex with hotel guests in that 1 hour booking of fun. He could easily had given instructions to his staff to prevent customers from using his hotel room for hanky panky shady business, if customers (that girl) request to book room for 1 hour usage only. But he didn't stop it.

One of his ill-fated 48 hotel guests already started serving 9 weeks jail sentence, squatting inside prison cell now. Poor Principal !

Immoral Hotel chain like his destroyed people lives and families badly, by allowing prostitutes to enter (which is bad) and underaged some more (even worse).

as he is the hotel owner, he has a choice.
allow his hotel for good use, or for bad use ?

                He has a choice.
