if she truly desire Nanyang so much, her youngest (third) son can still make it in time.

But not her #2 because not enough time, going to register next year July 2013 due for P1 2014.

To prepare for her 3rd son, this time round :-

      i) she really need to shift house to less than 1 km from the school.

      ii) under phase 2B -
perhaps she can consider join as a Active Community Grassroot leader this time round, instead of Parent Volunteer.

this may open up a new Second career horizon for her, from an actress to a potential politician, when she follow MP around to solve residents’ problem(s).

in the Entertainment circle, currently there is a promising actor in his 30s keen to join Singapore politics. Ronald Reagan was formerly a Hollywood actor, before he became US President.

I guess the person is a \"Tay\" but not Zoe, and not a female. 😉

Tsk tsk... temasek stir over nothing?

Where and who are the angry parents of HPPS to start with, if the child confirmed not schooling there.. 😂

Kekekeke shows how good it is in stirring up a storm....

Maybe we can say her son is in acs and which acs? Acs senior it is 😆 :rotflmao: 😉

I've seen Star parents in acs.. super low profile, framed glasses and cap.. 😄
Agree that it is not easy in a small country like ours, difficult to put on a 'pleasing attitude' to all.. 😄

Zoe Tay become politician ? No way man. She doesn't even know how to talk and not diplomatic. We have politicians who screws up sometimes but ZT cannot enter parliament.

politician can be groomed … slowly.

by following MP around for a few years, shake people’s hand during those GRC Meet-the-people session and ask residents "what’s your problem you are facing, can i help ?" After a few years of immersion inside walking around hearing murmurs from the ground, you more or less get familiar with the type of common issue(s) heartlander(s) often encounter and bring up to seek help.

As a grassroot leader, she can learn by offering to write letters on MP’s behalf.

There are many many categories of problems or requests one can talk to their MP about. Perhaps for school admission matter, MP may write a letter for you and send to school. But final decision rest with the school. If it’s family problems, she can help direct residents to the right places for financial aid, mediation for problems with neighbours, counselling, etc.

look at that young lady Tin. In the beginning, she also no experience, had to start from scratch.

It really depends whether he sincerely wants to do something for Singaporeans or he could have other agenda that we may not know of.

Yes, hope he will be a good politician too :xedfingers:
