perhaps we can indicate which school child going, from phase 1 to 2C.
later on, those going to the same school can pm one another privately,
eg: organize a gathering at Macdonald /KFC or during one of the child's birthday or Dec Christmas party, get to know one another exchange info / tips about school, before entering P1 2014 (remaining 1.5 years left from now).
Some of our kids may end up in the same P1 class, for at least 2 years.
Those entering schools affliated to Secondary - may be together for next 10 years - from P1 2014 until Sec 4 2023, or until Junior College II 2025.
can indicate:-

ksp name, school name, daughter / son, which phase (optional), location (optional)
in the event some of you need to form car pool but don't know who stay around similar vicinity, refer location can pm one another - discuss ways for transport solution.
how to monitor ?
when new info submitted, if is same school that your child is going, copy contents into an Excel spread sheet. Save it.
at end of every 6 months -
someone volunteer to attach an image of namelist, for your school.
1st target date: Oct 31 2012
in time for Nov/ Dec year end Christmas party gathering.
2nd target date: June 30 2013
for your school, 2nd volunteer update namelist.
3rd target date: Oct 31 2013
for your school, 3rd volunteer update namelist.
