sleepy:
haha...agree with sleepy...feel happy after exercising though the going to start part is difficult!Oh, this is an old thread but just want to chip in to say 'hooray' to exercising :rahrah: It's my lastest fave!
Gentle weight lifting and simple aerobic moves for 45 minutes to an hour. Follow by abdominal crunch at least 150 times and stretching exercises at least thrice a week.
I didn't lose a single pound though. Too much stubborn fat :nailbite: I feel happy anyway
hehe...for me..it is so difficult to lose a single pound too...anyway i am not too bother by it cause i believe the most important thing is you are exercising to keep healthy and keep your body moving.. -
LOLMum:
a friend started on qigong for health reason...well, to lose weight.
you have to watch your diet as well.
i just want to do some exercise and not let go of my body shapre and health. i have done yoga, pilates etc when i was younge. now want to try something different. always been keen in taiji but dont seem to find any group near my place.
his appetite improved...while he used to have flabby tummy, it is now one 'hardened' lump!!

Today morning after a gap of 4 days went jogging.
The early morning rain had messed up the track with wet soggy leaves/flowers, broken twigs scattered around.
I was irritated - how to jog, its like an obstacle course , what if i fall.... :stompfeet:
Fuming I carried on. And what do I see ahead ? - one jogger slowing down every few feet to kick the twigs out of the track.
Here I was complaining and here he was doing something about the situation.
I hesitated, and I too started to follow his acts.
I came back - sticky sweaty but with a smile in my heart - it is indeed a great way to start the day - in more than one way. :boogie: -

I usually cannot let a nice cool morning go to waste without some exercise, esp in the park. Sadly most days when I do go after doing my 2nd round of school run at 9am, it starts getting really hot. ;( I don't jog bc of my knee. But I do walk several km each time. Hikes too. Enjoyable. Sometimes in the afternoon - cycling too with the littlest kiddo. Good thing about the really young ones is that we can just strap them at the back of the bike and then do like 10km bike run at a time bc they just enjoy the scenery, generally uncomplaining, unlike the older kids. But I must say, the frequent physical activity doesn't seem to make me any trimmer. Probably just seems to prevent me from getting fatter(!!!). Nevermind lah. Don't care. At least I feel physically strong with great stamina.Today morning after a gap of 4 days went jogging.

Wa! 2nd round of school run? Envy, I only jog 15mins on sat and sun inside my Hse. Am not sure if my feet will be affected by the running on marble flooring.

Yes, love to start the day by exercising. Usually would jog at the beach with DH or the park near to our house. If DH is off , we will go to MacRitchie Reservoir to walk - it is really cooling and for weekdays, you donโt see that much of a crowd compared to weekends.
Cheers to good health ! -
Started going for brisk walks in the morning after seeing my kiddos up their school bus since they started their am session. Previously I will not be up so early as I was not an early sleeper. I have never been able to sustain a regular exercise regime since the kids came along until this year. Now it is a daily affair except for weekends.
Started out brisk walking, now jogging for part of the 5+km distance. I will usually head out to the nearby nature park. Now I am so used to my morning exercise that whenever I missed it for 3 days in a row, I can feel all the stiffness n tension starting to creep into my joints. I will feel like I am wound up very tight and start getting cranky and lethargic. -
Wow, so many early birds
I can't jog le. Have been failing my 2.4km consistently when I was in secondary school
I exercise at indoor gym during off peak hours like late afternoon or noon time. Maybe I should start strolling in the park to enjoy some fresh air. However, the nearest park is next to expressway, don't know if air is fresh :scratchhead: -
Actually one must exercise for how many mins in a day to be beneficial? I canโt find time to exercise in the day but if I do exercise it will be in the evening. Then there are people says exercise too close to meal time and bedtime not very good. So how? I can only exercise in the weekend. Must we exercise till we are panting?
