Oh hi! I thought this thread was inactive! keke...well, since no one else is around, \"Welcome to the club!\" :rahrah:

I run a small bouncy castle business with some friends in my spare time. We specialise in renting out bouncy castles for kids' birthdays. It's a new biz...so, we're still feeling around, hope it works. :xedfingers: If you're interested, you can check us out here: http://www.singaporetoyclub.com

erm...can't think of any tips but i guess it helps if it's an area you are familiar with or if you are passionate about, it helps.

How's PT been working out for you?

        Hi Lynnmae,

Cool! It’s good that you found work partners to take the leap to start your own business. You should have gone through tonnes of considerations and hesitation before the business finally took off…all the "what if"…what if it does not work, what if the injected capital becomes a loss etc…

Not sure if PT will work forever…with work dynamics evolving…more intiatives…more reports…more admin etc…while work hours stay stagnant.

          Hi Glorfindel,

Appreciate it if you could share what kind of PT work/position does the the publication/education industry offer. Does it allow you to knock off and don’t need to worry about the work at home?

There are many Part time or freelance type of work, which may be suitable for any SAHP.

It all depends on the timing and work location and skill sets.

                        Hi Sembgal,

Part-time staff entitle full month AWS or pro-rated?
Eg. Monthly salary $1,000(part-timer's salary )
AWS will be calculated as $1,000 or $500.

                        Thank you!
