      FQW:

      E3,
You mean during your gal's time, none got A* for P3 HCL (notwithstanding the fact that PH usually gets quite a few PRC kids rite)? Jialet man!

Next year my turn to rant. You all don't fight with me hur. πŸ˜‚
Righto! At the end of last year, 90.5 was the top score and she's already really very good, not a PRC, a true blue Singapore-bred girl. My girl managed a high 80s.

Generally the big gap happens from P2 to P3 and from P4 to P5. My son kept saying the P5 Chinese is very hard...

Even a PRC pupil in his class said standard very high.

He is lucky this round, only 2 careless mistakes n the prob sums qn types are those he is familiar with. He did badly for the mock paper.

Not only the paper is very hard, teacher's marking is also very strict. My son lost 6 marks on sectionI due to his handwriting. πŸ˜“

My friend told me 1/2 the class of P6 R1 flunked Math...that spoiled my Friday  couldn't we perhaps enjoy a weekend after 1 month + of stress?

                      FQW,
We are not laying the red carpet for the Pei Hwa 'Parent-Torture-Club' but giving you advance notice what to expect. Reality is such that this school loves to set tough papers to give kids a rude awakening. Honestly, it's very demoralizing when they have put in so much effort.
I was feeling so down this morn. Although I kept telling myself this SA1 is not THE big picture, somehow much time and effort were put in.
                      Son flunked Chinese.
