Each class only have 24 students. And here goes...only 6 boys in every class. The ratio follows throughout. i'm part of the majority. we are sitted in round tables, 3 girls to one boy.

Ya....I am only in JH1, so may not be able to tell you alot but lemme tell you, LA was difficult initially.

Er... you mean you didn't know this? No need to be so \"kuai\" to sit 1 boy to 3 girls at each table lah. I think by 2nd half of the year, it might change. I remember my boy saying that the girls were so noisy, that he just packed up his things with the other boys and sat in front at a table by themselves so they could concentrate on the lessons.


BTW, I don't see any misconceptions discussed?

The only difference this year from our children's year is the slight changes made to the CAFE programme, that's all.

It's already happening.All the boy's banding together for group projects unless
they are separated by the tutors.LOL

I just received the email from NJC. DSA under swimming is not considered. Looks like we have to give NJC DSA a miss. Best to ALL!

Allow me to share. My DD is doing her 1st year in JH - Junior High at NJC. She is enjoying herself. NJC provides an all rounded environment, with emphasis on both academic and sports.

The kids are given the opportunity to experience various sports. Orientation was exciting which encompass canoeing/dragon boat and outdoor activities. So far, they have road run, and even experience Funtasia ( food and fun fair).

Overall,it is a great experience at NJC.

Hi, I'm a JH2

The portal is more for students to check on their e learning assignments. Their report card is not listed there. Report cards will the given at the end of each semester, or for JH1s, at the end of term 1, sem1, and sem 2. (My parents do not check KM, by the way)

Okay, NJ has a pretty bad past with the KM system, with many students confused with the layout and all that. They recently changed to the current LMS one, but again, the interface is more directed to the students. (That explains for the lack of information) I suppose in the coming years, NJ will continue to improve on that, but currently KM does not cater to the parents.

If there is a curfew, What is it like? What time can students leave the hostel between mon- thu? And what time must return between mon-thu?

Please refer to the boarding programme handouts given to the students. All information can be found inside. When in doubt, call the boarding officer to clarify.
