i ckecked some online tuition centres and surprised to see some undergrads from top schools charing as much as $45 per hr for sec students 1 to 1.

but i do like two / three of these undergrads but alas, no more free time slots. 🤷

Ridiculously high. The part time teachers at tertiary institutions are paid between $120 to $150 per hour and this tutor is asking for $100 per hour for P4!

Dear Parents/Students, is there any good tutors you would like to recommend to other fellow parents or students? Perhaps he/she has been extraordinarily patient, friendly and helpful? or the tutor has significantly enhanced you/your children's studies? Maybe you/your children have came across such a unique set of teaching methods from the tutor that you think it may benefit other kids as well?

If there is such a tutor you wish to share with other parents/students which may help other parents/students to finding the right tutors, please get in touch with me at [email protected].

We will reward you with a small token of appreciation when they get connected.

                For more information.
                Thank you

                  Hi all

I've got a very good tutor to recommend. She's very experienced and committed. My girl (p2) was initially failing her subjects last year, but after she started tuition with this tutor, her results improved greatly. She started tuition in early October and sat for her end of years at the end of October. For her EOY, she got band 2 for all her subjects--English, Math, Chinese. Not the best, but a great improvement, considering that she was still failing her tests in September. My daughter is now in p3 and for CA1, she scored band 1 for all her subjects.
I'm really glad that I found this tutor. She is very patient and also does her best to make her students interested in the subjects. She now teaches both my son(p5) and daughter (p3) and they like her very much. My kids even look forward to her tuition classes.
Very dedicated also, tuition is 2hrs/session but she only ends after making sure they have finished learning what they need to learn for the day. Keeps me updated on my children's progress too.

PM me if you would like her contact. Thought of sharing this here since it's so hard to find a good and dedicated tutor these days. I managed to find her after changing many tutors throughout last year. Wished I found her earlier.

I'm looking for a good piano teacher, does anyone have any to recommend? Thanks.

Hi Mrs Chan, I would like to have your tutor contact. Just PM you, kindy reply. Thanks vm

My kids' Chinese need serious help. Am a working mum, do not have too much time to teach them the Chinese names of basic and common items which they still do not know (am teaching them the chinese names for fruits such as papaya, water melon, pineapple now 😢 ).

Any one has recommendations for good and patience Chinese tutor who is able to teach Chinese language in an interesting manner to 2 P1 kids in Bukit Timah area?
