      csc:
I'm also thinking of what to wear too.. I mean ..on the day of the release of PSLE results .... celebration on the cards, at our fav restaurant, regardless of her results. You're always the BEST, baby..πŸ˜‰

      Aaaww. :hugs:

Heyya csc, when i first saw the phrase celebration on the cards, i was kinda imagining you going down to SV with placards with your girl's name on them as a show of support.  Aniwaes, with you around guiding her and with a good school support system and teaching strength, i am sure your daughter's gonna do great! :celebrate:

          Thanks Chief.

Why don't you make your prediction here too? Maybe you have some insider news (just joking!!!). Or you want do it at 9.01pm 25 Nov?

My prediction is Raffles Girls' Primary School.

          The reasons are

          1) they have very dedicated teachers there.
          2) the last time they produced the top student was 2006 and they have missed the trophy for 2 years (2007, 2008), this year they have a new P and may be tasked to get back the trophy.
          3) based on the past statistics, the PSLE top students are mostly girls and being a GEP girl school will definitely stand a higher chance of producing one.
          4) read from other forums that there is a P6 girl from RGPS who is the top of all GEP schools.
          5) last but the most important point is my dd is studying there, hope having a top student in her school will inspire her to study hard.

The first post already stated the contest ends at 9pm on 25 Nov 2009. So Chief may want to be the last one to comment. I guess.

My prediction is also Nanyang Primary School because:
                1) it has a most dynamic principal (unfortunately leaving for Nanyang Girls in Dec 09) 😒 .
                2) it has the highest number of dedicated, motivated and loyal PVs who put in the same or even more effort in the education of their kids in NYPS :rahrah:
                3) it promotes both moral & academic excellence, thereby offering the perfect environment in nurturing a TOP student πŸ˜‰
4)last but not least, the kiasu spirit and index is probably one of the highest, or if not the highest in town, hence it gets my vote for being the best able sch to product the TOP kid. :celebrate:
                Tks v much, Chief

I vote for Bukit Panjang Primary because statistics show that they produce a top student every 3 years. One in 2003, then 2006 (one of the top) so the next one will be this year!!

I have students who are graduants from CHS (Primary). Their parents are really as described above. Can get quite scary as they find means & ways to get teachers' personal contact numbers and keep calling to ask for feedback or keep calling to complain!

I know what you mean. Talking to them makes me very stressed, like I'm a good for nothing parent for not being on the ball like them. They know everything about thier kid's classmates cum competitors. Everyone is a competitor there.
