Hi, Maths Olympiad is a generic name for a category of academic (maths) competitions. You are probably referring to the common ones like
http://oas.highsch.nus.edu.sg/NMOS/ and
http://www.hci.sg/aphelion/apmops/
Many centres (tuition centres, etc) offer training courses for maths olympiad at primary school level. You will have to contact them directly.
The more commonly known ones are mathoasis, mathshub, learninginteractive, etc. -

unfortunately the 80 marks of RIPWMC is not the same of 80marks in SMOPS, their style of questions are very different
er, i had thought they rank the top. 1xx are platinum/distinction but there is still mark range among them so still possible to tell them apart......HyperKiasu:
80 platinum from SMOPS and 50 distinction from RIPWMC, = 130, may be 20 are overlap, so there are 110 of them, a big group......who can tell who among them are having math ability beyond peers ?
all 110 of them are peers of equal standing, only some killer papers may be able to set them apart
anyway, small issue...hehe....
also, since MO is so common, it is considered as peer knowledge
yes. MO questions appear in PA or SA even in lower block of primary, though the questions are basic MO, they really can tell who is really good at math. Without MO, full marks of maths are like 满天飞 in a HA class. -

Son : 100

Son : 80
Me : 98 is ranked how far from the top ?
Son : may be around 10??!! -

10:30 am competition ends
10:50 am lunch, talk and tour
2:30 pm seated at Cheng Yi Lou

You need to know your group number and index number. Better check with the maths teacher or HCL directly. -

Hi,
just wanted to ask, must everyone who’s attending the invitation round go for the lunch, talk and tour?
Thinking of skipping that, and come back later for the prize presentation. Maybe even skip the prize presentation. -
Hi, anyone sat for nmos today? how was the paper?
