Age group 3. Was told that it’s something like test.

Gosh. She’s gonna to have to link 50 items. And i have no idea why/what/how they are doing this.

I also thought they don’t test/compete/compare the kids? Felt like pulling her out. Barely 30 months and has to sit for test.

Any feedback from parents who have went through this?

Sheley, the LM for 50 items is the essence of Shichida… play the CD at home even without practise they can pick it up … they need to recite one by one in class… the sinsei is wrong to use the word "competition"…

the sinsei will encourage those who is reluctant to recite by helping them along… after first time, the kids will do better each term. they are having the LM 50 items recital on monthly basis… i i think only in mid term for 3 yo to 4 yos class.

You’ll be amazed by ur kid’s ability to recite all in speed… my DD sinsei gave them gift for the fastest reciter and others also have but not as grand as the fastest. so they will try harder the next term.

For 3 years old, it’s just placing 40 LM cards within 3 Mins. My gal did it. With some home Practise, it can b done.

As for 4 years old, it is recite 50 LM items within 1 min. I Practise with my gal and she mastered it within a week.

Thanks micollh and piglet and calf for your valuable feedback.

For the past 2 weeks, my gal has been undergoing the "brain excellence" thingy during the lesson. Can feel that she was abit upset if she did not get the things correct. Been telling her that it was ok and she did a good job.

Now training her for LM. Just play the cd every night before she sleeps. cross my fingers

                    Hi,

Anyone knows where to buy Shichida materials? I am quite confuse with the types of training materials Shichida have as my child has not attended their lesson before. I have read in the forum ppl selling dot cards, random cards, linking memory cd, I don’t know what’s that. Can someone pls explain to me the types of materials and where to buy it.

                    Thanks!

                      Hi,

I usually got my material from Singapore Motherhood BP or from the Shichida Sinsei shop (but more ex). If your child is in Shichida, you will need to get the linking memory from them as they use a certain set for each term.

Recently, I discovered this website which i find it very useful for our home practice too..:)
